Its not less than a shocking development that Great Grant Masti censor board copy has been leaked. This leak has left a lot of questions in minds. Last week Udta Punjab of Anurag Kashyap leaked and that copy too have ‘Censor Copy’ mentioned below. Alike Udta Punjab, Great Grand Masti had also told to do many adjustments by the board according to reports.

Featuring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Urvashi Rautela in the leading roles, the film was set to release on July 22 2016. Observing the initial reports, it could be said that the copy might be available to download on various servers. Maharashtra Police had taken a strong action against the piracy kings for Udta Punjab. It would be interesting to see what will happen in Great Grand Masti’s case.

Many other users notified the producers and directors about such leak on through twitter.

Earlier this year Honable court has issued list of some sites to be banned for piracy remarks. Technical experts believe that the sites banned are primarily responsible for this leak.

It would incur a big loss for the producers and stars as well if the internet users will watch only pirated copy of Great Grand Masti.

A leading trade analyst, says: “The damage to this film would be far greater than Udta Punjab, as the latter was leaked just a day or two before release, whereas Great Grand Masti is available online a good three weeks before its scheduled date of release. Furthermore, the audience for the sex comedy is the young post-pubescent males who are online all day long. Chances are, Great Grand Masti has lost a sizable chunk of its audience due to the online leak.”

The complete film of  2 hours 14 minutes has been leaked online and the prints can be found on many piracy sites. The makers of the film are shocked and are looking into the matter. Previously, Shahid Kapoor’s Udta Punjab also faced a similar fate.

It’s not even a month to what happened to Udta Punjab that terror has struck Bollywood again. And this time, the damages will be far greater. The prints of Udta Punjab was leaked two days before it hit screens whereas for Great Grand Masti, the prints are out almost three weeks ahead of its release and it will definitely prove detrimental to the film.
